Brilliant version with The Edge taking over vocals. A great new acoustic version.
Considering people here say U2 are musically limited, there's no excuse for Quo putting out those two piles of crap

I liked Aquostic. So there That's Bono singing, surely? Mind you, I haven't heard the whole song, just that snippet. I'm not sure I don't prefer the original. Actually, I am. I do. But each to their own and I'll probably grab that U2 album. I usually do.

I agree. The second one was maybe a step too far. A few half decent efforts like Lies, Hold You Back and That's A Fact but I rarely play many other tracks.

freewilly, another choice what Aquostic should of been. I know why they did what they did on the light entertainment circuit. I get the covers albums. I get the 'art for art's sake, hits for fuck's sake', I really do. But damn it all to hell, they wasted so much time on crap when that raw, edgy boogie lay dormant, bubbling to the surface like this now and again.

Their voices are very similar and have about the same range Agreed, I prefer the original too, but the point is it's different and there was thought put into it. It wasn't, "slap an accordion on it and get some female singers in for harmonies, that'll do"

I'm still to be convinced that's The Edge. It's not so much the same vocal range as identical! The Edge sings on a Rattle And Hum song ( Van Dieman's Land maybe?) and I don't think they sound similar. But time changes voices. I've been reading reviews of the album and I will have to stand corrected, if still unpersuaded

He also sings Stories For Boys, along with Two Hearts Beat as One and two others. Comparison if you're still unsure

Here's another great version, maybe Francis should release a acoustic album by himself.
