Not all are British bands Aren't they? OK, two fifths of Fleetwood Mac maybe not, but the rest look British to me. Unless I can't see them all. Daft idea anyway. Belle and Sebastian and The Libertines? I mean, seriously? |

Not all are British bands Perhaps they mean bands that originated in Britain, even if they've subsequently "evolved". Take the aforementioned Fleetwood Mac : started as a British blues band in the '60s, experienced numerous line up changes & is currently 40% British 40% American & 20% Kiwi, but very much USA based. |

I know railroad007 . It's just one of these daft lists that are so prominent these days. A nice easy way just to get 'traffic'. There are already 5,000 comments, so it obviously works. Frankly, the last three standing have to be The Beatles, the Stones and The Who. But it's just a game I suppose. The fact Quo are even mentioned is a feather in whosever cap it is. |

I thought about commenting, obviously to save Quo, but then decided it was probably just some sort of click bait. A lot of these things are - 'porn star name' gets 2 common security questions out the way - pet and mothers maiden name. This one, maybe, it could be a question for some services security, i.e. "what is your favourite band". As always, on public posts give away nothing personal. |
