Someone guess the chords! Could it be Caroline? It's a D, so it won't be Caroline

...and now I've had a response - this response from a direct message to the folks who answer Facebook messages:
"We spoke about it in our meeting yesterday and have it in our cue. It might be 4-6 weeks before it can get released but it is coming."
So that would be end of April(ish). Ye Gods!!!!!! We might just get to see it!!!!

There's (silent) 8mm footage of Quo playing in New York, if I manage to get my hands on a copy at some point and the brief footage of the 14th February 1978 - Deutschlandhalle Berlin show that was included in a German TV film. Other than that, I'm not too sure what else exists of that era for Quo

It'll be an interesting version of Big Fat Mama. It hadn't been in the set for a year or two because they had feedback issues with it apparently. I remember reading that way back in an interview with Francis in one of the music rags. I think it only began to reappear in 1974. They maybe played that song as a sort of rehearsal for the tour. Just guessing mind. It'd be good to see and hear 👍 Although you can see why they'd make little impression in America when placed in a line up like that one

In a way it's strange that they did pick BFM to play on US TV. You would imagine something like Caroline or even Paper Plane would have been more appropriate. I don't know whether the US audience would have 'dug' the tempo changes etc all that much. IMHO

Maybe Don't Waste My Time would have been more to their liking.
