In the late 1970's the Dutch Status Quo fanclub was the driving force behind Holland's one and only Status Quo tribute band at the time, Quotation. The band played at fanclub events that were held throughout the country once or twice a month. In those years Quotation released 2 singles: "4500 Times (part 1 and part 2)" and "20 Rockin' Years", a tribute to 20 years of Status Quo.
When Quotation called it quits the fanclub issued a commemorative cassette (remember those..?!; Quotation was revived in later years with new members and remained a very good Status Quo tribute band).
The cassette consisted of the 2 singles (A & B sides) as well as 3 demo songs that were never released.
The sound quality of the songs isn't the greatest (because that's what happens to cassette sounds after 40+ years) but I thought these songs may still be of interest to some of you. Besides, they are just too good to be kept a secret...
