So, my third and final gig this year was Munich, following Glasgow and Wembley.
Manfred Mann’s Earth Band were the support and to be honest, i found them dull.
They are excellent musicians but as a support there was too much virtuoso musicianship on show for me.
I’d rather have had a support with shorter snappier songs to keep interest levels up.
On to Quo….i can’t help feeling the drone isn’t loud enough….it needs to be louder to get the non believers more excited.
As usual, the band were great.
Francis had a technical issue with buzzing so he had to waffle a bit longer with his first chat until it was sorted.
The Oriental went down really well, as did the usual big hitters.
Only a couple of little changes last night compared with what i saw in the UK: Liberty Lane was left out last night and we got DWMT instead of Burning Bridges.
All in all a hugely enjoyable concert🎸🎸

I was there too and I agree, it was a great night again. Top marks to Richie and Leon.

Absolute classic. " That is not my dog" I was a huge fan of the Pink Panther films. Peter Sellars was a genius. " Minkee...." I wonder if I'd still laugh as much now as I did back then (actually, I just have). And would anyone be allowed to play a Frenchman that wasn't French these days? That made me really chuckle on a cold, grey Sunday morning 👍

That made me really chuckle on a cold, grey Sunday morning 👍 My mate from East Kilbride stuck a major limb straight through this big fcuk off window in Kennington when we were reducing an avenue of Plane trees. The tenant came out, not happy, and we went in to inspect the damage. Inside was a pretty decent walnut card table. You know where this is going. The resident said "This is an expensive antique" to which Johnny Forrester, luckily in almost unintelligable Glaswegian replied "Not anymore" He did have a brilliantly descriptive turn of phrase. He once described the lower regions of a young lady who opened the door to him when we wanted her to move her car. She was wearing pretty tight leggings and he came back to the van and told me that she had "A box like a VW beetle bonnet"
