I was at that gig too Gerh - and still have the ticket! We were on the terraces to the right of where you were. Enjoyed Christy and The Pogues as well. I remember during the day a huge water fight breaking out amongst the crowd, with plastic bottles of all shapes - and contents - flying into the air and landing everywhere. Happy days - and great photos!!!

Yep I have a pic of the bottles flying all over the place, from down the back - I only moved up for Quo!
There was a Guard up on a raised platform watching on as the plastic mayhem got underway, dunno what he was supposed to do! He looks bored in my photo!! 🤣

Hmm, I believe the Wolfe Tones are an IRA supporting band that glorifies the killing of innocent people in the lyrics to their so called songs. Not only would Quo hopefully not share a stage with people like that again, but I hope all descent groups and artists would not either!

There's a certain amount of sense in that alright, col.
To look at [or, imply that] any situation is "you're bad - therefore everyone else is good" is either willfully negligent and/or stupid, the world doesn't work that way - and then add in, as I've said, Imperialism, and it's as far from simplistic as you could hope for [or deserve... if you're myopic!]
A pity that a thread about Quo Photos has taken this side-track.
