It comes down to what you actually mean by "best". In the earlier days Rick was undoubtedly the most charismatic, melodious and powerful and harmonised perfectly with Francis who had a less rounded voice. The passing of years took their toll on Rick's vocals whether by overuse or lifestyle choices but in contrast Francis's voice has seemed to get better, clearer, fuller and more confident and bringing meaning to the lyrics (except for anomolies like the Oriental). Don't ask him to try 'Can't Give You More' in original key now though!

My vote for Francis , I ve always though Rick was the better singer but Francis 70s voice among the many things got me into QUO.

All depends on when and which song. Alan was awesome on the reunions . Rick in his younger days same with Francis . Watched a few clips of the current tour and they all seemed to struggle. Not heard Malone, but did hear Andy. He didnt even make the list

The Quo "sound" is basically the harmonisation of the the whole band, rather than one solo voice to me. I certainly think that Rick's voice became more gravelly as he got older. I prefer Francis' voice.
