Just heard that now - RIP 'Killer'! Almost all of the actual legends are gone now.

One of the real founding fathers of rock n roll. I saw him on a double header with Little Richard in San Fran way back in 72 and it's still one of the best, rawest gigs I ever went to.

I think that's about it. All of those there at the beginning and who influenced millions of people and decades of popular culture - in fact, pretty much inventing it - have now gone. Their legacy cannot be understated, although I think Jerry Lee's passing has been criminally under-reported. As was Chuck Berry's and Little Richard's. It wasn't all down to Elvis, although you wouldn't think it. RIP? Jerry Lee Lewis? I somehow doubt that
