Was wondering if there was a Quo tribute playing in Glasgow at all before the real thing

Haven't heard anything. State of Quo have been known to pop north for a visit but not this year it seems.

Are there any bars near the venue that quo fans go There isn't much near the venue other than hotels. It's just out of the city centre in one of those soulless areas where they build arenas. There is a Hard Rock Café in Buchanan Street which is very central and State of Quo played a rock type bar during the reunion tour, but I can't remember what it's called. Not much use that, is it?

Not near the venue, but The Solid Rock in the centre of Glasgow is cool!
