It sounds a bit daft (it certainly does to me) but the official agenda for the release of material - and in particular the format - obviously differs from that of the fans. Daft because, let's face it, the release of the older stuff has to be aimed at a certain, shall we say, more discerning part of the fan base. They're not going to be promoting this stuff on "This Morning" But from being genuinely pleased at these releases I suddenly find I'm nit picking. Quo fans, eh? Never happy

I don’t think the band or management harness the power of the fan base - admittedly shrinking - but still relatively loyal.
A pre ordered heavy traffic limited edition campaign would at least have managed to gauge opinion as to ether remixing the album was practical.
Ah well. Still looking forward to hearing it - I might have a go myself….

Is the heavy traffic album remixed or remastered or will we still have the pleasure of hearing Matt playing buckets and biscuit tin lids? Just remastered. Both could have been remixed, had there been the budget for it as both albums have unreleased tracks that only exist on th3 multitracks - but there wasn't the budget for it. That's the real shame. New tracks that we could never hear because of budgets. Don't think I need a remix of the whole album, but those tracks...

The Heavy Traffic gig is heitere festival, but what is exactly the Riffs gig bonus? The whole Montreux? Yeah Really the whole thing? The tracklist posted on the German message board starts with Rain, as does the DVD (unfortunately). And as I know my Quo they did not start with Rain Would love the whole gig though, of course

It’s frustrating. I listened to the preview on Facebook. Matts bass drum and snare are so poorly recorded on this - a Paxman trademark I’m afraid.
The whole thing has little ambience. A shame. Maybe between us we can put together a fan made re “mix”

Looking forward to these ones, since they are remastered! And also for the live tracks. Like others mentioned, the bonus tracklist could be better. There are a ton more known demos that were never officially released. And also missing remastered versions of You'll Come Round and Thinking Of You "album" versions.

There were an additional 9 demos across the 2 albums, that were dropped, as a couple of people didn't want them to be included along with the tour drone I mentioned earlier. pointless doing the album versions as the single versions are much better, and I didn't want dupes of tracks for the sake of it.

But great, I love it, looking forward to it. The listing on the Resident Music site seems to be f*cked at the moment and needs fixing. They've added the additional information, for some tracks, that I put on the excel doc for Universal for what had been released prior and the cat. number of said release - For example; something 'bout you baby i like - b-side umtv 982 582-3 break the rules - b-side umtv 982 582-3 forty-five hundred times - xs all areas dvd

I have on my lists 10 other demos, so one more, at least: * I Cried * Heavy Traffic * Green * Diggin' Burt Bacharch * Another Day * Rhythm Of Life * You Let Me Down * You'll Come Round * Lucinda * Thinking Of You Not really pointless, as they need a proper mastering. And I thought these Deluxes would be for collectors as well. Quo would need a proper deluxe set, like those of Yes, Jethro Tull, Fleetwood Mac, Tears For Fears, King Crimson, etc.. Heck, even Marillion, in 1998, got 2CD remasters for all their albums with lots of bonus stuff. It just feels it's always a missed opportunity for Quo, that's all. And it just pushes me away a bit, I have to say. That being said, I thank you, a lot, for your effort! Of course. It's not you.

I have also I don’t remember Anymore (lead vocals by Andy) and a couple of alternate mixes, mostly fan made! Rhino mentioned a demo with Rick for Creeping Up on You, so it seems there are Demos for all tracks lying in someone’s vaults.

I first wanted to hear it 20 years ago
