I s'pose I'm pi**ing against the wind asking that someone record [even audio, ffs!] one of these JCQ gigs and share it with us on here? Yeah. I thought not. 🙄

I'm sure the final gig at Minehead will be recorded. The Conventions in 2015/17 & 19 were. Im looking forward to that and the London show in July at the Half Moon, Putney

It was a brilliant night, great set, great sound and the band were on top form. I even managed to have a quick word with JC, who squeezed my arm and said "'ello mate" as he walked passed me. I've seen loads of bands at this venue in the past, but the atmosphere last night was incredible and the love and respect for John was palpable. Its only a small venue - probably about 500 capacity - but it was sold out and the atmosphere was electric. I got chatting to a young lad next to me, who wasn't a Quo fan but had gone to keep his Mum company (she's the Quo fan!) and he was bowled over by the friendly atmosphere and musicianship.
I know some of you are very familiar with JC's band, but I'm not so please forgive my naivety...they were superb! In fact the drummer, who took over from John during a break, was one of the best live drummers I've ever seen (and I don't say that lightly, having seen some top drummers such as Mikkey Dee and Bill Ward).
A quick mention about the sound - the mix was spot on and how Quo should sound. Every instrument could be heard loudly and clearly, and the bass was as heavy as f*ck! I congratulated the sound guy afterwards, it was that good.
I'm afraid I didn't see many people filming the gig, and I particularly noticed this because it was nice to go to a gig and just see people enjoying the moment rather than watching it through a camera. However, during (I think) Caroline, I did see one lady do some filming for about 5 mins, so something might appear on youtube at some point.
Great night, 10/10.

I saw John coghlan about 20 years ago at Sutton civic theatre. There were no more than 15 people there. Glad to see all the hard work has paid off a second time and he knows how appreciated he is

It's such a shame, for good reasons previously given by the band, JC can't travel for further away gigs for his last hurrah!

Did John actually play on the two songs

He played on four songs, but as he was slowing down so much, they divided his drum beats over the two shortest songs.
Of course he did.
