The full length version, definitely. The butchered, badly edited single, less so. Which this version is of course. I think this track suffers very slightly through being in the set for so long. I've heard it so many times now. That applies to many songs of course. I was never mad on the video. It was basically the band just larking about in a faux live setting in an unusual location. Something Quo have done repeatedly over the years/decades. No doubt a great deal of money spent but very little artistic thought. But that's very much a side issue. The song itself is excellent. The full length version has a little bit more dynamic than the single with the opening chords and the quieter break towards the end. So, on that basis, it's a 9/10

I like it, but now I'm kind of bore with this (like with WYW or RAOTW, maybe because it's overplayed live)

Better than most of Quo Lites singles but that's not a very high bar. Detest the video.

I don’t think it got much airplay anyway. It shows that radio don’t always listen because had they done so, the intro would have stayed as it’s great the way it builds before the main riff comes in .

My recollection is slightly different, Cammy. I think Pip said he was totally unaware at how much the song had been butchered for release as a single and wasn't best pleased. I've felt for a while that it only seems like Quo singles get treated that way. I dare say that's not true and I'm just biased but how many 'single versions' do we have over the decades? From Down Down onwards
