Song - so many, but Your Song for its simplicity but beautiful melody.....but then there's Tiny Dancer.

The only albums I've ever owned are Sleeping With The Past and a greatest hits from some time in the mid 70's. So it's hard for me to judge. Best song? I know it's a bit predictable but I've always really liked The ***** is Back and Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting. I've quite liked Elton's stuff on and off, although around the late 70's and through the 80's ( I'm Still Standing and all that) I had little time for it. Mrs Mortified is a big fan of an album called The Fox but, typical me, I think it's rotten  Bland in the extreme. |

Never listened to his albums or bought anything
Saw him on one of his summer tours (with no band, just Elton + piano) and was surprised I knew all the songs. Sure casual Quo punters say similar. On the night I liked rocketman best
