Mostly really good, let down by the verses. I think poor, dull music during the verses, really good and quite atmospheric everywhere else. Shame as it has potential, has something about it

It really did begin to all sound the same after the split of 1984 with it becoming a Rossi vehicle. And here's the thing I never really got on board with the Rossi pop type stuff even when it was the FF and Bob, it was bearable when you got the input of other writing combo's inside the band which, despite what the critics said, led to genuine diversity in the songs.

Almost telegraphed predictable guitar sound and then Rossis vocals. Uninspiring. Didnt get very far with this one at all. Not for me I am afraid .

Not particularly keen on it (the other B-side on the CGYM 12", 'Mysteries From The Ball', is far, far better) but what struck me most on its release was its incredibly insensitive title given RP's family tragedy a decade previously.
