Sitting in the car waiting for Mrs RR so I decided to turn the radio on. It was Greatest hits radio, it was a lovely Sunday in London and good old Simon Mayo says "Now it's time for some 70's Quo" on my pretty decent car radio I sat and enjoyed Again & Again..again.

I love moments like this. Thanks for posting here. You should do a Christmas album. "Ceegies Moments" a collection of those dipped in warm chocolate type emotions.

Yes, hearing Quo on radio is another level. Over here very rare to hear anything but RAOTW or maybe WYW but on the rare occasions they play Down Down.. it’s a beautiful thing. That song sounds so good on radio.

I love it when a `classic` Quo song is unexpectedly played on national radio. I can remember quite a few years ago a programme on Radio 2 on a Sunday afternoon presented by Dale Winton (?). It was an album chart hits programme of a particular year. The year in this weeks was 1976 and he gave the run down from 20 to number 1, it was Blue For You in that top position. When he said here's a track from it, I expected Mystery Song or Rain, but no, Is There A Better Way was played. Also Rossi was recently on Sounds Of The Seventies, Jonnie Walker played Roll Over Lay Down (live) and Forty Five Hundred Times. Result!

I requested 'Roll Over Lay Down' (live) as Francis Rossi was a guest on Jonnie Walker's show which also coincided with the Quo Convention 2019 weekend in Minehead. I've also requested on the Sounds Of The Seventies show...'In My Chair' & ' Down The Dustpipe' last year for their 50th anniversary release dates. Other tracks I've requested...'Lonely Man' , the studio version of 'And It's Better Now' on the week Radio 2 broadcasted the Aquostic Live at the Roundhouse concert.
