Bit by bit I'm uploading tracks that had brief stints in the live set over the years. Starting with the Fabulous Tour from 1979.
Taken from the master bootleg recordings and remastered, as I intend on doing with other tracks. Both of these tracks, afaik, had been completely dropped from the set once Quo had made it to the UK. Neither are present on the Glasgow Apollo boot from 27th May.

Some people said on this forum that Oh What a Night and Like a Good Girl were rotating from the setlist in the UK IIRC, but I find very strange that there are 3 bootlegs from this UK tour and all 3 contains Oh What a Night.

Great shout, Quoincidence. Great idea So many songs played live but only briefly and never recorded for posterity. It's great to hear these two because they'd long gone by the time I saw them in May 1979. Others that stick in my mind that I did see are I Saw The Light and Nightride; Mad About The Boy; Rockers Rollin' and You Don't Own Me; and Oh, What A Night (of course). And then there are those from the Rock 'til You Drop, Thirsty Work and Under The Influence tours. It's a long list - longer than you'd think. But a project SO worth doing. Nice one.

All the tracks marked with (?) are tracks that we could argue as to whether they are rare or not, as they stayed in the setlist for a full tour or 2. There's also a one off performance of In The Army Now that could be included. The only major difference was an extended outro to replicate the album version

People probably won’t want to hear it again, but I recall seeing them play Restless before Thirsty Work was released… Rick playing the piano I think!

You Don't Own was a good live track, but standing 30 ft away with the volume at 20 squillion watts, smoke lights and everyone around going mental they all sounded great to me.
I'm always impressed by those who can pick out an off guitar sound or a slow drum at live shows, 70's earphones and stereos sorted my ears out years back.

Quoincidence, I think any track that has been played live but never officially captured for release is worth being on the list. Although I appreciate a few on your list have been. And there are one or two on there that I never knew they HAD played! Since 2008, Quo have released a ridiculous number of live albums but the set list has remained largely static. Give or take the odd song from touring an album. Had there been greater diligence in the past, who knows what gems might have been uncovered. But we've had this discussion a million times of course. The 70's almost gives the lack of recordings a valid excuse. From the early 90's onwards, I'm not sure it does. But good luck, mate. You deserve a medal!

As for example: Claudie Mean Girl (from the seventies era) Solid Gold All Stand Up

All Stand Up and Solid Gold were played from 2001 until 2004 - 2006. I could still add them, but they aren't the rarest out of the lot on the list

To be honest, some of those with a question mark are quite surprising because there are a few that I've never seen played live. The Way It Goes probably surprises me the most. Either that or my memory is getting really bad. Which I would never dispute with any degree of confidence

If you didn’t get to one of those that’s maybe why it doesn’t stick out in your mind
