... I could also see Face The Music and Cut Me Some Slack in there too to take it bang up to date, but those two mostly on account of Francis letting rip with a couple of expressive solos, and well constructed ones too, not just using obvious patterns, they're more like Francis Rossi solos to me. Those are good songs and I see what you mean about the solos (except I blinked and missed the first one and had to go back and look for it ) but I kept longing for the little nasal whine close to the mic and not so much multi tracking. That was part of the Sound for me. I went back to That's A Fact. It's always a bad sign when you want to go back to something else ...

So, this is where 'The Compilation' is [so far] I might have some of the original sources wrong - I'm not sure tbh, esp. some of those Oz versions and B-Sides - I'm hoping someone'll correct those that are wrong!

The real divide though is not after B2B but after Blue for you.
There is nothing that fits post B2B on the albums Ma Kelly’s to Blue for you.
Different band creativity and production wise.

The loving game Obstruction day And yes, Burning Bridges 😆 Where is 'The Loving Game'? Rick spoke about the loving game when AC came out. Generally he was saying the "songwriting has moved on", but that this song had been written in the old way but had been given modern treatment

From a personal point of view, I think Shine On is the best example of all. It would have fitted anywhere at any time.

Although for me one of the few songs that is anywhere near very good post Never too late. Put this on any album 1770-76 and it would stick out like a sore thumb. Production wise, vocal wise and song writing wise. Its a fools errand trying to show horn completely different things together.

Almost there with my 'After B2B' compilation - running at 45mins on 2CDs [so that it's similar to an 'old' LP's length!] But... Can anyone help me with these tracks please? Can't find Lossless versions of... You Let me Down Lucinda Obstruction day The madness
🤞😉
