I'm an oulier here but I've never enjoyed it, though it was one of their most commercially successful singles. Too poppy for me I'm afraid!

It's catchy but Not a favorite of mine. To light and a bit repetitive.

I still enjoy it once in a while, but it is too repetitive.

Love it. And the live version, love it even more. According to my father, this could be the first Quo song that I heard, on the incubator room of the hospital! It was played on the radio when he was vising me.

Haha! just been harping on about the single and John's drumming and the single being too poppy for me. Realised it's the live version and deleted my ramblings.
Not their best single but certainly not their worst . Off to find the studio version on TOTP now with the false ending ?

One of my favourites would have loved them to do it on the reunion tours, not the shambles of the medley version that CQ do/did . Cheers

Probably the song that got me re-started on Quo. It had so much more energy than anything else on the radio at the time. I bought it, IIRR.

Love it too - got an unmerciless ribbing in school for the 'Smokie-esque' part though!

Interesting fact Francis brought up at Epsom about this song last night. Most fans will know how he accidentally came up with the guitar intro by aggressively swiping his guitar in frustration etc..However the guitar solo was meant to be a sung piece but no one else liked it so became what it did.
