From 2:45 or so onwards and right to the end it is absolute genius. Still gives me goose bumps. I just have to get through the single version to get there; the bit Joe Public knows. Editing the single down to exclude some of the best music the band ever produced should have been made a criminal offence Between this and the butchery of Mystery Song, someone should still be serving a prison sentence

Mrs Gaz is from Jersey, and I finally visited there for a couple of weeks not too long ago… a great place with deep history. Enjoyed lunch while seeing the shore of France on the horizon. Living on that island… yes probably could get use to that.

JC's drumming on that long outro makes it all the more special for me, could happily have had a few more minutes of that

If someone else had written this, it'd be lauded as one of the best songs of all time.

Always liked this one. Wouldnt rank it as a classic but still like it. A sort of middle ranking Quo track for me. Enjoyed it live. The outro is one of those that you wish there was more of. Can say that about quite a few Quo tracks including Breaking Away from the same album.
