Don't recall seeing that at the time. I might have though. Hale & Pace were OK. Seemed short lived though. I remember them doing an impression of Chris Rea and singing The Voice From Hell, which amused me

Oh for the days when TV appearances in clouds of dry ice were regarded as cutting edge. Strange to see Rhino banished to the back of what looks like an Ikea offcuts set and the normally dapper Andy looking like he'd been dressed by the local thriftstore.

That jacket appears to be straight out of a bargain bin. I’m a bit disappointed that Rhino didn’t leap from his position to spin around a couple of times to begin his infamous chicken dance… aah those were the days. Was this era the beginning of Francis finally living out his Everly Brothers fantasy?

So Andy's outfit fits for the song tbf

So producers ended up with a thin, electronic sound that dated albums terribly. Andy would have been doing what he was told by the producer. I wonder who that was...

Nice find... but I hate the song, really do!!! Isn't it depressingly ironic that Quo peddled all kinds of dross during this period on whatever show would have them on and yet in the 70s there is a dearth of TV appearances when they were firing on all cylinders!!

Shocking. Embarrassing. Depressing. What a terrible, terrible band they re-invented themselves into.
What possessed Rick and Francis, their management and record company into thinking any of this was a good idea and would give them greater success??? Was it really all just down to drugs and a false belief that times were a changing so they had too?
What a joke band they became in such a short period of time. Abysmal.

This is prime example of Panto Karaoke Quo and this is the sort of song you see on a cheesey album of that time of novelty gimmick one hit wonder hits the song sounds like it should belong on one those albums along with worse Ain't Complainin song. That vid makes me cringe when it shows Francis going "alright" at the start

That's the first time I heard 1 minute of that song(?)
So we left in droves after Back to Back, or even sooner. They were completely embarrassing.

That was really good. Compared to the rest of an episode of Hale & Pace at least. #unfunny

Don't understand how art can be 'embarrassing'? It's like the British public getting peeved at Mary Berry if she decided she wanted to make steak and spuds one day instead of fluffy cakes.
