Just watching a totp 91 repeat uncannily looks like a young Francis even for 1991 here🧐😜..

Keith Scott is a fantastic guitarist. I do remember wondering at the time if he was influenced by Quo, due wearing of the waistcoat and having the Francis look about him.

I remember being impressed by Bryan Adams' guitarist on the Waking Up The Neighbours album which I have always considered his best. But I was also a quite disappointed with the follow-up album, 18 'Til I Die and the guitar on it was one of the reasons.
Did he change guitarists between these albums?

No, Keith Scott was there at the beginning and is still with him now. For me, the problem with 18 'Til I Die, is that he had a monster hit with Everything I Do on the previous album. Thus whereas previously there would be a couple of ballads on an album of rock songs, he went in the opposite direction and it was a token couple of rock songs in amongst an album of ballads.
