I'd actually forgotten. Strangely. No doubt we've all shoved our memories up here or on whichever message board we happen to be frequenting. Those who were lucky enough to be there anyway. The weather is certainly similar today My fave song of the day? Close to the best version I've ever heard.

I have one regret. I no longer have that t-shirt with the signposts on it. Must have lost it in a house move or something I'd treasure it today. I went to Ibiza the following month and it was hardly off my back for a fortnight. Well, that and the denim micro-shorts Half-two now. Me and sis would just be settling in along with a bus-load of other Scots. Jason and the Scorchers had already been booed off. Can't recall who was up next. Whether it was Marillion or Gary Gli**er. A weird line up but strangely more entertaining than the Monsters of Rock.

I had a chance of going but Selhurst Park had been so flat I settled for the Hammersmith gigs as being the farewell. The last FF gig at Hammersmith in 84 had the same atmosphere as FF 2013.

I'm watching the video of the concert now (yes video) . My signpost t shirt is safely in the drawer, together with the white Quo's Last Stand shirt.

Well if any of you on her dont know, thats my brother(the one with glasses) and three more of my mates at the 1.49 mark and later. I know that a few of you on here have met him. When we used to go to Quo gigs in the years after that, he would get recognised. He even got spotted at the reunion gigs, treated like a bit of a celebrity, he loved it! All four of them and myself were going to have a meet up at the JCQ gig in the Brook S*uthampt*n a couple of weeks ago, but due to circumstances it did not happen. I was there in 1984, but in different part of the bowl. Great gig!
