Re-upload of the VHS rip with better audio, and less Tarrant commentary throughout the doc.

Still think a tv show, where Fern Britton kidnaps Chris Tarrant would be amazing.
"Britton's got Tarrant"

When I look back, I think this has to be one of the most overpriced videos I ever bought.
If I recall correctly, it was £19.99 .
It struck me at the time that the doc and the behind the scenes stuff could reality have fit on one tape, with it costing a tenner .
Also feel they missed a trick not releasing the four gigs on video at the time too.

Also feel they missed a trick not releasing the four gigs on video at the time too. Close. It was £16.99. I managed to get my hands on the press sheet for the release, and sample artwork sleeves for the RTYD doc, Live At The N.E.C. and End Of The Road releases. The "Making Of... Behind The Scenes" tape is sh*t compared to what it could have been. Sitting on tons of footage only to use 30 minutes of it, and most of it is showing the Can't Give You More promo. 22nd / 23rd July - Press Event & Set-up ? September - Rehearsals (definitely filmed and recorded, as the audio was sent to Pat Marks for him to programme the rig to. You can hear a rehearsal recording of Roll Over Lay Down during his interview) 20th September - Newbury Racecourse Charity Event (Status Quo Stakes) 21st September - All of the footage captured during the event, excluding the concerts. Interviews with;- Pat Marks David Walker Iain Jones Status Quo (each band member / as a whole after the final show at Wembley) Tonto Footage of the editing process, on the day and afterwards. Film crews were present in the mobile recording studios on the day - again this can be seen on the Behind The Scenes doc. I believe that Paper Plane was mixed / edited for use in the Documentary, as there's a copy of the audio with that same sterile mix - different to the mixes of the whole shows used for the Deluxe Disc 3.

Pat Marks...
I remember he joined the old board. He wasn't half condescending and patronising to the fans on there. "Yep that's it, Pat...Belittle and insult the people who keep you in a job"

I encountered Marks once in a pub before a gig holding court to a table of fans and telling them what the lyrics of 'Paper Plane' were about. Funnily enough I'd spoken to Bob Young not long previously and his version of what the lyrics are about was entirely different. Seeing as he's the man responsible for actually writing the lyrics I know whose version I believe.

Seeing as he's the man responsible for actually writing the lyrics I know whose version I believe. He came across as an utter bellend! In one incidence and rightfully so, the band were criticised by the consumers (fans) for keeping the same setlist for 4 or 5 years straight! I remember him tearing people apart over that and insulting them. Did he not realise he would be out of a job without them? In any line of business, if the buyer is unhappy with what he/she is being sold, they have every right to complain. It wasn't a criticism of the performance or the crew, it was criticism of the band taking the consumer (fans) for mugs! It wouldn't have killed them to throw a different song or two into the set for each tour.
