More info on the book to follow but...
I need your super Quo knowledge!
1- I'm looking for information on Ricky/Rikki Patrick (co-writer on End of the Line and a few others with Rick). Who was he? Still around? Done anything else of note? There are several songs attributed to him on the PRS database but I can't seem to find any of them in recorded format.
2 - did we ever find out definitively who delivered the STAND UP AND FIGHT line on ITAN? I know it was a member of the crew and not Noddy Holder but I'm not sure I've ever seen a name...
Of course, anyone who leads me in the right direction will get a mention in the acknowledgements :-)
Greg

In the FTMO fan club magazine years ago the lads confirmed it was roadie Chris “Nut” Hatch who shouted “Stand Up and Fight”

I'm not 100% sure because information is sparse but I think the 'Patrick' who co-wrote End Of The Line with Rick might be Recardo Patrick who was the lead singer with a band called Sweet Sensation. They had a hit in the 70's with Sad Sweet Dreamer. He is credited with writing the B-side to In The Army Now, which is almost correct. He'd be a co-writer, Heartburn being the song in question. Hope this helps, mate

In the FTMO fan club magazine years ago the lads confirmed it was roadie Chris “Nut” Hatch who shouted “Stand Up and Fight” It was probably Christopher “Privet” Hedge, later worked as FOH / sound engineer for Marillion, Genesis etc. www.markosmarillionmuseum.com/privet-hedgeThere was also a guy at Handle Artists called Bernie Nuthatch but he wasn’t a member of the crew.
