American band Three Dog Night released this single 'Shambala' in 1973. I only heard it for the first time recently... and was immediately reminded of a later Quo song, with the same running chord sequence/motif. Anyone care to guess the Quo song? Shouldn't be too hard!

Reminded immediately of 'The Traveling Wilbury's' and their track 'Handle With Care'!

'quoman' has it right first time!! I'm sure someone on the board will tell us what the chord sequence is, but to me it sounds very like 'You Lost the Love'. The motif is also similar to 'Handle with Care' and probably lots of other songs too!!

It's good that. You Lost The Love comes right at you in the opening bars.
My mum bought me a Three Dog Night single when I was a kid; Mama Told Me Not To Come. I loved it. And, until now, the only song of theirs I'd heard. Well, apart from the B-Side, whatever it was.
I never heard it again until Tom Jones covered it with Stereophonics in the 90's.
