Yeah, they were doing Oriental during the summer festivals and on tour with Skynyrd in 2019 Probably the one thing I'll never forgive Quo fans for...I remember so many demanded the band put that into the set A stain on the arse of humanity that is at this stage. It was alright for one tour but, 20 years later?!?! There was a clip somewhere on the internet taken from behind Leon during the Oriental and the crowd are really into it during the build up in the middle . Maybe that’s why it’s been a mainstay - a good reaction to a more modern Quo track ( albeit it’s 20 years old next year.....how does that happen?!!!!!!)

He hates change and wants things as they are. Case in point, not changing a single song for about 5 tours in a row, the now infamous "meh two weeks rehearsals with two lads who haven't played at this level for 30 or 40 years and who never used the new modern on stage equipment in their lives, will do" mentality towards the FF reunion tour. The Oriental might go down well on some nights but, bottom line is, any song in the Quo catalogue could take it's place. He chooses not to do so. As a song, I don't mind it but, by the time I stopped seeing, as Rick would say, "the other Quo" in 2012, it had gotten on my tits!

Power Up is atrocious, easily their worst album which says a lot considering Rock Or Bust was an abomination also. I quite like Backbone but the production is too flat, it's not an album I would play over and over til it's worn out but it's decent enough.
