That bit at 3.20, that's as cool as rock n roll gets This is going to sound a bit silly but it looks even more cool in black & white! We have a million still images of Quo in full flight from the 70's, but you can see why not one of them do it justice. re:: the black n white comment, I know what you mean as it reminds me of the times I saw Quo on Countdown on our old b/w tv at home. When I finally saw Quo live the first time, it simply took my breath away seeing them stroll on stage, with the stage smoke , in ‘full colour’ so to speak...then Juniors Waiting began!! Simply the best band I ever saw and that footage reminds me again how lucky we were to experience Quo live back in the 70s.

The 'stance' on the Kiss Alive album was taken from the FF. I recall Gene Simmons stating that.

The 'stance' on the Kiss Alive album was taken from the FF. I recall Gene Simmons stating that. I heard a story that the guy who photographed that cover ("Something" Costello?) just keep saying "Do the Status Quo stance" over and over and Gene just get sick of it yelling "We're not Status Quo, we are Kiss".

Probably Fin Costello - did many Deep Purple, etc. things

That makes more sense! Just Googled the album cover, and they are not copying Quo. I can't imagine the giant egos concerned wanting to be seen to be copying anyone

Such a shame Quo didn’t crack the American market. Must’ve been poor management that didn’t have the right contacts to get them tv exposure. I mean for a band riding high on several number 1 albums in various countries across the globe not to be given a leg up by a record company seems odd.

Said it before, saying it again
Doesn't matter how interested in Quo you are. If ever you think you know it all, a new and interesting fact on here will pop up
Can anybody tell me anything about Twisted Sister issuing the Quo live postcard with one of its UK singles? Would love to know how that came about. Again seems to be a Stance related...
Astonishing really that Quo had any influence whatsoever on big US bands with no exposure over there
