Reckon it's stood up well. It's one of those albums I will go back to occasionally
On FB Rick's son said
3 years ago today we released Dads posthumous album ‘Over and Out’, it was a minor miracle thst it even came into existence given what Jo Webb had to work with. Still very proud that we gave him a proper send off with this album and my eternal thanks go out to Jo and all the RPJ Band boys who all played on it!...oh did I mention it went to no.3 in the charts? 💥🏆💥🏆 ❤️

Yep. I still go back to it, once or twice a year and it's got nothing to do with the fact it's Rick. Some good grooves, solos, arrangements.
It's a solid album. Very enjoyable

There are tracks on the album that I absolutely love. The first two especially. OK, some would say it's largely Quo by numbers bordering on a pastiche; and the guitar work is deliberately Rossi-esque even by Brian May. But that's what I like about it.
I can hardly complain about Quo not sounding or composing like they used to, then be given an album like this and call it 'by numbers'. It pretty much delivers what I want from Quo occasionally but so rarely get.

Has anyone asked Francis what he thinks of the album? Or its chart position?
Overall I think its of similar quality to BB, another one that will get an occasional airing

I love most of the songs on it and like the others too so rate it a good album for me. I still listen every now and again and enjoy it. Still feel extremely moved by some of the tracks. Not a ‘Quo’ album but I love the variety of styles and felt proud of Rick and what his son and friends did to make it happen.
