Thought i watch this great christmas movie, have seen it in ages. One of the best lines of irony ever. When his mate Jack, with half his head hanging and being a fully paid up corpse says "Be serious David" I like the scene where he has a nightmare followed by another one.

Watched exactly 11 minutes of Jurassic Park Dumbion. At exactly 11 minutes Mrs RR said "Do we have to watch this shit?"...we didn't.
But if anyone wants a great Audio book tip try this incredible tale.
"Pandora's Lab: Seven Stories of Science Gone Wrong
Paul A. Offit
What happens when ideas presented as science lead us in the wrong direction?
History is filled with brilliant ideas that gave rise to disaster, and this book explores the most fascinating—and significant—missteps: from opium's heyday as the pain reliever of choice to recognition of opioids as a major cause of death in the U.S.; from the rise of trans fats as the golden ingredient for tastier, cheaper food to the heart disease epidemic that followed; and from the cries to ban DDT for the sake of the environment to an epidemic-level rise in world malaria.
These are today's sins of science—as deplorable as mistaken past ideas about advocating racial purity or using lobotomies as a cure for mental illness. These unwitting errors add up to seven lessons both cautionary and profound, narrated by renowned author and speaker Paul A. Offit. Offit uses these lessons to investigate how we can separate good science from bad, using some of today's most controversial creations—e-cigarettes, GMOs, drug treatments for ADHD—as case studies. For every "Aha!" moment that should have been an "Oh no," this book is an engrossing account of how science has been misused disastrously—and how we can learn to use its power for good."

Just watched “Bank of Dave” on Netflix, well worth a watch Good film. Enjoyed it. Yeah, not a bad film.I had to Google the story afterwards as I had no idea who this Dave chap is, my wife seemed to know though, typical. It is a good rainy Sunday afternoon film. Good British cast and some Rock music, what's not to like. The 'concert' at the end is a total fabrication BTW!

From the acting, to directing, a very good film and a real eye-opener to folks who have not been exposed to dementia. Mr Hopkins deserved the Oscar he received.

"Obscure ABC TV-Movie of the Week “Satan’s Triangle”, airing January 14, 1975, has garnered a cult following the likes of few movies before it, and to this day it lives on in the memories of 30 and 40-somethings, who watched it as children, as one of the scariest films ever made"
