Interesting and largely positive review. With the somewhat ironic and, shall we say, challenging statement ".... a group and not merely the old guard plus a supporting cast.... That must have rattled a few cages. Still does no doubt Made me chuckle having seen the tirade of abuse on numerous message boards over the years aimed at this 'group'. I loved that grey sweat shirt. Wore it off me back for a couple of years till the black Ain't Complaining one came out. It must have shrunk in the wash after I reached a certain age Always hated polo tops. Reminds me of golf

I don’t remember the green tour jacket . I’d definitely like to forget this album. Cheers

"This band has finally matured." Why haven't we?

Terrible 2/10 one of the worst things with Status Quo on the cover. Red sky excepted.

I really liked the album at the time. I was SO eighties But it hasn't stood the test of time that well. Probably because it was so eighties. I do still like Overdose though. A lot.

"Twenty-six years on from the first incarnation of Quo ..." - 1960?! This was only 4 years after the 20th aniversary!

Some good stuff and some awful stuff. Pretty much every album since 1982. Quo stopped making albums that flowed or had some sense of what followed what. They started to become just a bunch of songs that stopped being an enjoyable experience from start to finish ! Pretty much from then until now. Take QPQ. Great start for 4 songs then mish mash / confusion !! This album was exactly in that stable. Not great but to had its moments.

Another album I'm very fond of and which I never skip any tracks, I've often seen people compare this and the Ain't Complaining album but I have never been able to choose one as better than the other.
I love all the singles and In Your Eyes, Calling & Overdose, the others are good.
