Try to give it a listen once Mrs Railroad finishes the Fcuking Washing Up Concerto For Plates, Spoons and Oven trays...should have taken me up on my offer of a dishwasher but no, a new mobile was more important.

Sounds really good using the Chromecast equalizer bass boost setting.

Don’t think I will ever get tired of listening to that song , especially the pre 1985 versions . Being very selfish , I wish they could have done something like this version on the reunion tours . ‘14 with Gotta Go Home was far superior to ‘13 with Rain . I wonder if Francis ever plays his guitar parts in his studio in a reminiscent practice kind of way ? . Listening to this , I’m back at the Apollo, Selhurst and Milton Keynes all jumbled up in my head , watching Status Quo tearing it up , running around ........... fucking brilliant ......thanks Quoincidence , cheers mate for posting that .

Quoincidence It's my birthday later this month so if you could get the whole gig uploaded that would be great. I'm not saying your continued membership of this forum depends on it, I'm, well......just see what you can do.

"Magic, triphic, marvellous." Takes me right back.
When I rediscovered Quo again, I stumbled across the NEC Charlie gig version, same tour via YT. Loved it then and now. Its all the shifts in tempo and rhythm. How they're all in sync. Hearing both versions from this tour tonight, and then the Milton Keynes version... I'm in awe, all over again.
Must check out what that musicologist says about this track in the book.
