Hi Victor, Hows about a different album every week to discuss. If we keep it broad and popular it may lead to some discussion and a chance fore people to go back to albums they haven't got around to or left gathering dust on the shelf ?

In itself a good idea PF...but the abums have almost all been discussed in the album month threads and maybe it would be too soon to start it all over again at this point every week...so I was thinking of something along those lines what you suggest bit something different then an album...I will come back to this later on

Hence the section I posted in.

what about a survey where everybody can list their favourite top 10/20/etc non Quo albums & then use that to create a list to work through from most popular downwards? that'd be an interesting thread in itself & would advertise the idea too

I think it is a good idea for 1970-1990. As the classic album period.

That’s a good idea. I think it is a good idea for 1970-1990. As the classic album period. I'd probably say 1960-1980 - is that age related? To some degree it is. 🙄 My choices from that decade would be from CWR, Simon and Garfunkle and Dylan. However this isn’t about me. It’s about a discussion so I think there will be other things like the Who, Stones, the Beatles or John Mayall. I could choose Celtic Frost’s Into the pandemonium but I’d be discussing it with myself despite being one of the greatest musical works of all the times.

Well, if we invite people to list their favourite 50 non Quo albums [could be from any era, or just the last century, etc.] there should be room for a fair few less obvious choices to creep in & it might be surprising how many people appreciate them. It may inspire some people to check out albums they're not familiar with or revisit some that they haven't heard in a long time - a bit like what happens currently on the Quo album of the month thread.

First I've noticed this thread. I'd be up for that Certainly 1970 onwards for me, although if I'm being picky I'd extend it to at least 2000 - and even beyond. There were some cracking albums in the 90's and early noughties that I still play. But I'm happy to go with the flow.
