Evening all, after recently getting UTI & TPAOY extended to versions w/bonus tracks, just wondering if anyone could confirm if there's an impending issue of HT with any bonus tracks in the offing?

bridsparegular roquerI could tell you... but I'd have to kill you after There are plans for one in the last batch of deluxes, and it would be a 3CD release... but I can't tell you the tracklisting as nothing is definite and things are bound to change. They haven't been given the greenlight yet, as far as I'm aware so who knows at this point. There are outtakes from the Heavy Traffic sessions on the multitrack masters

What are the other deluxe editions due for release in the near future? Luke have you ever mentioned Vinyl reissues to the record company? I know they've released the studio albums and a live album in the box sets but standalone Vinyl copies of all the studio albums from 1976-2003 would be good.

Got great plans for all 3 albums, with 4 completely unreleased live shows being included across them. In regards to standalone vinyls, I'm assuming they'll be done here and there by various companies like Music-On-Vinyl, Culture Factory and Universal / BMG / Sanctuary, as they have done; Picturesque Matchstickable Messages From Status Quo (Gold) Spare Parts (Bronze) Ma Kellys Greasy Spoon (RSD Fried Egg) Dog Of Two Head (Ltd Edition Red and are now releasing it on 180g black vinyl) Piledriver (Ltd Edition Blue) Hello! (Incl. Joanne) On The Level (Ltd Edition Orange) Rockin' All Over The World (John Eden Remix / RSD) Tokyo Quo (RSD) Live At The N.E.C. (2017 release) There are future plans for other vinyl re-issues / releases that I can't mention currently

(predicted txt...π) Not really, besides the Neza Mexico stuff which I didn't bother with due to that being pretty widely available. I went for something different...

I hope HT deluxe can be released to coincide with the 20th anniversary of it's release. Some of us would love a remix....
Could anyone hazard an educated guess for me....how much money are we talking for a remix ? I'm guessing the sales wouldn't justify it and RAOTW will be a one off

With remixing you've got to account for those involved with the process being paid and then also covering the cost for studio time, so you could be well into 4 digit numbers within a day or 2. I honestly think that all of their older albums should be given a modern remix.

I agree with you, something like The Ramones camp is doing for all the first albums, a new remix for the 40th anniversary deluxe edition. But, The Ramones generate more money for doing that than the Status Quo camp can make (altrough those deluxes are limited editions!) I thought the first albums of the ramones couldn't be improved by a remix...But nowadays those remixes are my go-to so, I can see a remix of Hello or On The Level for example.
