When the band return, I suggest it will be a return to arenas. There was excellent demand for their tour before the pandemic.
With a good support, they could sell a lot of tickets. People will want a good night out. I hope they give them a good support.
Massive wagons would be a good shout. Or how’s about Blackberry Smoke.

Very true, the clamour for tickets for rescheduled gigs with the band I play in now has been huge. When finally the live music scene can return to normal, be it the end of this year or even early 2022, many heritage rock bands will be doing tours and playing venues they never thought they'd do again. A few bands who haven't played together for decades could also be seen again.

I wouldn't have bothered before Covid but if we return to normal I'll be heading to see Status Quo, as Dr Feelgood said
Ain't gonna do you no harm I just want to shoot Some rock'n'roll in your arm
Frank Turner
And I still believe (I still believe) in the need, For guitars and drums and desperate poetry. And I still believe (I still believe) that everyone, Can find a song for every time they've lost and every time they've won.

Ask Lynyrd to do one final one. There might be some freak bus accident but there you go: at last some rock history for those that didn't want that

Think it’s at the start of Let It Burn ? Not all the time but when he jams a bit ?

I wonder if it’s just coincidence or if Charlie has heard of Quo and knows Caroline ?

I wonder if it’s just coincidence or if Charlie has heard of Quo and knows Caroline ? Charlie was involved with the first Western Sizzlers album, although I don't think he performed on their excellent cover of Break The Rules. So I have no doubt he's heard of Quo.

Quo should've focussed on the South and Detroit when they tried to crack America. It seems one or two southern rockers have heard of and like them. Not least The Georgia Satellites, who also have a member in The Western Sizzlers.

I can confirm the riff is indeed a nod to Quo and he played the second guitar on Break The Rules.
How cool is that ? He’s brilliant
