Remember it well Viv, also the walk from Olympia, with a few mates, through the streets of London via Trafalgar square to Liverpool Street station, waiting for the paper train at 05:00. happy days

I think we came out of Olympia around 12:30 taking a slow long walk back to Liverpool street, so we must of got to the station about 4ish.

Olympia is the far end of Kensington. I've done Soho to that cinema on Kensington High Street in a lot less than an hour, but I was going it some ... then Soho to (say) Kingsway, maybe 30 mins ... after that I would get lost at least for a while. I can see that having a leisurely stroll could well take 3 hours with one or two doubling-backs
I get a bit nostalgic for London. There are lots of things I don't miss about it, but there are lots of things I do look back on with fondness ...

Quoincidence, do you have a recording of this concert? I think last year you said you were hoping to get it? Actually, pretty sure kursaal75 said it was on you tube but I can’t find it!

I can get it onto Youtube if you like? I have contacted the owners of the old Capital FM radio tapes in hopes they might have that still, along with the Wembley 1986 Radio Broadcast.

I had it on cassette tape Viv, I recorded it from a Nicky Horn's Rock show programme on Capital Radio in early January.

Regarding the Quo live at Olympia tape I had, I think it was only a few tracks that Capital Radio broadcasted, Backwater/ Just Take Me, Roadhouse Blues, Caroline, Bye Bye Johnny. (EDIT).......and Big Fat Mama
