Tomorrow will mark the 4th Anniversary of the passing of the Rock 'n' Roll legend Rick Parfitt (O.B.E) Here are some negatives I have of Rick from (I'm assuming) either 1993 / 1994

It's a bit like the old story about JFK. Everyone knows where they were when they got the news 5 years and we can start playing that Bowie song. Like they do in documentaries. I shall raise a special glass again tonight. None of us wanted it to be, but it's become a new Christmas tradition.

I don't claim he was a best at anything. I don't claim he was a great person.
However the music he wrote and performed made my world a better place. What more could we ask for?
He now lives for ever.

Thinking of you today Rick. Thanks for all the joy you brought to Quo and your own music. You live in my heart through that music.

Rick was the one ‘star’ I followed from a a young lad of eight years of age when I first saw Quo on TOTP’s until the day he died. Sure I lost interest in Quo for many years during the 80’s and 90’s until I ‘found’ them again but no one person ever replaced him in my affections.
A legend in my eyes and I will be raising many a glass to him later....(is 11:46 too early?).
Listening to 4500x as I type this and my 3 year old granddaughter is dancing all round the living room.

4 years ago eh? I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing. Well, a lot has changed in the world in between times, but my love for this great man has remained the same. Still miss you Rick, RIP.
