I doubt that very much indeed. Its a long way away for men of a certain age. However if Francis is fit and keen they will go on until he isn't.

Francis and Andy are still fit and well and Francis thrives on attention. Plus the demand for tickets for classic artists after so long is huge. When the band I play with did a socially distanced gig in Berlin in October we were limited to a capacity of 5000 when the venue held 24,000. Tickets were awarded by a lottery system to be fair. We stopped taking applications for tickets when they hit 100,000. Quo gigs will sell out faster than they have in years.

I’m personally not of the opinion that the music industry is going to suddenly bounce back like the country did at the end of say the Second World War. There won’t be an ‘end’. Just a steady fading away. People buying tickets for Glastonbury etc next year are kidding themselves. IMO.
We’re looking at a good while till we see large shoulder to shoulder gigs again. Maybe years. With a band like Quo it’s largely a vulnerable audience both on stage and off. And I don’t know whether it will be financially viable to play to a 1/6th capacity hall, or whether they will have the desire to do so.
Still happy to be proven wrong

Well really I guess FF 2014 for many was unassailable anyway. I’m surprised there has been no attempt to record anything. Loads of bands are using the time to do some tt img. Francis said he loved recording Backbone. Would be nice if they put something together

Quo have been familiarised with the black curtains over the last couple of years
