"Tony Hadley, of Spandau Ballet, was the first to record his vocal, while a section sung by Status Quo was deemed unusable, and replaced with section comprising Paul Weller, Sting, and Glenn Gregory from Heaven 17."

They were always messing around. They were kinda, hum, under the influence.

If that's how Rick and Francis were during recording sessions in the 80s:
1. I'm surprised Alan didn't lose the plot. I can't blame him for not wanting to come from Australia to work with that 2. Andy has the patience of a saint

They were referred to as the doctors on the day and had "Franny and Ricky's fun corner" supplying coke to everyone.

Alan as well, though he likes to maintain that he was in control of it, which although probably more than the other two, isn't saying much!

Knebworth, just see him running on stage with them. The Army video, he seemed fine Same with Dreamin and Rollin' Home Out of all of them, the only one who seems off his nut is Francis. Is there other footage I may have missed?

They must of been doing lines in their vocal booth in that footage between every verse. in that Band Aid BTS footage

Alan as well, though he likes to maintain that he was in control of it, which although probably more than the other two, isn't saying much! He was seemingly sober enough to know they were being ripped off and not addicted enough to need it 24/7 like Francis or do heaps of it at a time like Rick. Reckon he done it alright but, nowhere near to the extent the other musicians out there were doing it. Francis, 99% of the time, always says it was him and Rick. He has mentioned Alan the odd time but, not to the same extent. Interestingly, he says John never did and it may have made him feel alienated but, then JC has said he may have done it

After seeing that video it's no wonder neither Rick's solo album nor the Rossi/Frost confection saw the light of day.
