So sad to have to report the death of Ken Hensley, aged 75. He was of course a great keyboard player and singer, but wrote most of the Uriah Heep classic songs in the 70s too: The Park, Lady in Black, Salisbury, Look at Yourself, July Morning, The Wizard, Easy Livin, Sunrise, Tales, The Magician's Birthday, Stealin', Sweet Freedom, Return to Fantasy and A Year and a Day, amongst others, were all penned by him. Sunrise, and the new day's breakin' through The morning of another day without you And as the hours roll by No-one's there to see me cry Except the sunrise... The sunrise and you. Good night, sweet wizard, and give my regards to David, Gary, Trevor and Lee.
