Happy day's indeed. I did the Hammersmith Hatrick 25th, 26th & 27th June. What a rocking pub The Brittaina was for a couple of pre gig pints.

Something went out of him when the hair went in the end.Samson Rossi? Why, why, why, Delilah? These pics are good. I was at the Edinburgh gigs (all 4 of 'em) the month before. One of my abiding memories was the floor of the stage which was like Quo's homage to Saturday Night Fever. All coloured lights; squares if I remember rightly. Which I may not these days Another memory was the inclusion of Rockers Rollin' and Oh What A Night in the set. Never even heard a bootleg of that latter song live!

One or two of those gigs were recorded proffesionally (by John Eden), I pray that they will be released officially one day! A hidden treasure!

I saw Quo for the first time at the NEC in May '79, so I do hope that any material recorded from this tour gets a release at some point.
