I'd like to hear how terrible the Monsters Of Rock '82 and Crystal Palace EOTR gigs were! No you wouldn't, they were taking the piss by then, sort of thing that didn't happen when happy bollocks JC was in the band.

Like others, I'm mostly interested in shows featuring songs that have not been released live in some form yet. Unusual setlists... like the RAOTW and IYCSTH tours (which would be the first proper live recordings of the FF line-up post Live!, as Dark said). I would also not mind getting a bit more from the late 80s early 90s line-up than we've gotten so far. BBC 1988 is very short, for instance, and even the NEC 1989 misses all the encore jam stuff. As the veterans of this message board will know that the Hammersmith Odeon, 26th June 1979 show exists. Few people have mentioned the Glasgow '76 shows. Would people buy a full release of all 3 nights? released for the first time, as the actual release is a compilation of audio from all 3 nights. If the sound is improved over the original album, then certainly. I mean, it worked for Deep Purple's "Made in Japan" despite also being mostly the same setlist on all three nights. Same goes for Tokyo Quo, if that was to be released in full. Another gig with the same set. Would people go for a Tokyo Quo gig, IF it still existed in full?

A box-set with the 4 gigs from '75, a box-set with the 3 gigs from the Apollo '76 and the Hammersmith '79 gig. It will be an instant purchase, don't mind for christmas or birthdays.
Also, any gig from the '80s, '90s and 00s will be wellcome, with special interest in the army, rock 'til you drop and Thirsty Work tours.
The full Tokyo Quo? Meh, it could be interesting, but i'll prefer the three shows from the Apollo. It Deep Purple can do it with the Made in Japan, why not Quo? (well...Yes, I know, money and not so many fans as Deep Purple)

As far as I know, I don't think any gigs were officially recorded by the band during the Army Tour.
Quite surprised they didn't at least capture the soundboard audio for the Christmas Eve, Hammersmith Odeon gig in '86... but that's Quo for you!

As I was driving to work this morning my Spotify Quo playlist (all of their songs in shuffle mode) played Forty Five Hundred Times from the 2000 Shepherds Bush gig. An excellent (albeit a little too short) version - as is Gerdundula from this gig. The full gig would be a great release, I'd love that!

I won't spoil too much, but one of the tours you mentioned is having some unreleased audio - released.

And reading back the thread just now: An official release of the Sweden tapes from 1971 would be awesome, although the version I have is top quality and more (if these exist) from the Kursaal 1975 gig. Best version of ROLD ever!

Best version of ROLD ever! Not to burst any bubbles... but, that performance of Roll Over Lay Down is actually from Stoke-On-Trent the following day. The only tracks released from Kursaal are; Roadhouse Blues and Gerdundula (Soundcheck) I've not seen anyone mention the Reading Festival 25th August 1973 show

It probably just reflects the Apollo gigs from October '76. Although I was always intrigued that it began with Is There A Better Way. Presumably that was just the way it was put together as opposed to the order of the set list. The bootleg ( Don't Waste My Time) was the same, only very poor quality. Actually, what now springs to mind is a full recording of Liverpool Pops 2005. The band were outstanding on the night and it had the best version of Rain (and possibly Roll Over Lay Down) this old fart has heard.

Probably should've read the sleeve properly Just had a look at the setlist of Reading on setlist.fm - yes I'd love that! Such an early (if setlist fm is right, the first) performance of Caroline, take my money!

We are starved of the 77-81 period. Didn't some film footage of a Dutch show 79 come out a few years back? Full show, please ! You mean the Amsterdam footage? That's just from either 1 or 2 cameras filming pickups for a new reel. Doesn't exist in full. Has what there is been released? Tbh I think it's shocking / remarkable how little video footage there is of the band at its peak

Maybe paired with Reading '78 it could make a very nice package, Quo at Reading in the '70s.

First performance of Caroline and last proper recording of Is It Really Me / Gotta Go Home
