Hey everyone! Not sure if the best place to ask this. A bit more on the technical side: I'm looking for the person that submitted this entry on the Dynamic Range website, for the Don't Stop album. My version is also from 1996 and has different values (an average of 1 less). Please PM me if you are out there (or if someone has the same values). Now, if someone has the Japanese SHM CDs, how's the sound on those? Also feel free to PM me, if you prefer. Cheers!

Hi, it was me. Decades ago I added some Quo albums to the DR database. (How time flies... Was a big fan and active member on the official board. Have been a sporadic reader here ever since.)
These Don't Stop values are correct. I still have the album and just redid the DR analysis with the dynamic range meter plugin for foobar 2000. Values are the same as back then when I used the TT dynamic range offline meter. Hope this helps. Nice to see Quo fans interested in dynamics. Cheers Mark

Hello! Yep! Quo's music, in my opinion, deserves that punch and those ups and downs in volume dynamics bring. Removing that just makes the songs sound flat and powerless. I really like that extra definition, listening to the songs with high volume.

Hello mark ! I sent you a message, but I'm not sure if you can see it (and reply to it), since you are a relatively new member on this forum. If that's the case, I'd be interested in asking you a bit more about the Don't Stop DR values for your version. Feel free to send me a message via the other forum. I believe there you are able to send messages right away. Cheers!
