I don't recognise Pip. Or is that him in the glasses sitting down? That might be Bernie in the middle. There is a resemblance. I'm not seeing Pip here. Possibly the time when they were helping paint Rick's house? Jackie Lynton was working as a painter decorator part time and he would have been there I would have thought. There is the story of Jackie painting the windows when Rick and Francis were in the kitchen working on a song. To me it looks like from Left to right: Rick, Francis, Bernie, Alan and Bob Y. Fairly sure that's Danielle De Poopen seated at the front! Ghostly apparition photo-bombing in top right hand corner?! Oh yeah! Spooky!

Seems odd then that it was within a section of the book about Pip, but with no photo of him.
Fairly convinced that's Bernie though.

I remember a debate ensuing on the old official board about who wrote A Year with Alan and the consensus of opinion was that it was Bernie Frost, although quite a few insisted it was some other Frost. Can't remember if we ever got to the bottom of it. I think there was a concurrent debate going on as to whether it was Alan or not too. Someone brought up the name Jack Lancaster for some reason i can't remember.... "His co-composition with Alan Lancaster, "A Year", the first of many Quo collaborations, appeared on the "Piledriver" album a year later." Written when Bernie Frost died.

August 2019 apparently, It would make more sense if I made it clear that the quote was written when Bernie Frost died, that makes sense.
