This appeared on Beat Club's YouTube channel recently, a much improved higher definition copy of their 1969 appearance, with no introductions or crowd noise either at the beginning or end. Looks like the video may have been cleaned up and spruced up a bit too.

Noticed this when it went up! There's also the broadcast version in the best quality I've seen it, complete with DLT introducing the song partly in German and part in English.
They also recently uploaded Steamhammer performing Junior's Wailing, and a whole lot of other great stuff.
Such an incredible archive and makes it all the more horrible to think of how much is missing from the UK, TOTP and elsewhere.

Not Quo's best but fascinating to see them at that age NOT doing Matchstickmen.
They seem to have been on that Beat Club a lot.

I always think that's a Bee Gees song, but it's just a soundalike which demonstrates how status quo were not going to take away the Bee Gees' customers. :-)
Agree about it not being POMM! I've got Is It Really Me from a few years later running just now.

I always think that's a Bee Gees song, but it's just a soundalike which demonstrates how status quo were not going to take away the Bee Gees' customers. :-) Agree about it not being POMM! I've got Is It Really Me from a few years later running just now. The difference ... Only a year later!
