Gaz vivfromcov That's good to know, thanks. I'd forgotten about how much content is in the "earbook" or whatever it is! I certainly haven't listened to every gig - has anyone?? It's now given me a bit of a project, my new laptop has no DVD player...so I've ordered a USB one so I can rip these gigs, stick em on CD and upload the rest. I remember listening to Manchester and Glasgow from 2013, with Wolves and Dublin from 2014. I've seen shed loads of hammersmith youtube footage but don't think I've listened to a full gig. That will be my first listen. Or maybe Wolves... Shame there was no "earbook" for 2014 Just remembered a bit from glasgow, Alan says "you twat Rossi" during the chat. The crowd dies for a few seconds, but thank god, they carry on! think you mean gav (not the first time it's happened)

I think it can depend how you feel on the night. The FF at Hammersmith 15/03/13 was always going to be good but everyone was so up for it. EOTR Selhurst Park was a rotten day for me, swirling wind blew the sound about and my mate had blown out and stuffed me for the ticket. It was a really crap day. I went to Greenwich to see the QPQ gig and because I had lost interest half way through a Wembley gig on the Perfect Remedy tour and I was curious to how I would feel. It was a perfect day because I could walk from my house to the gig, the weather was spot on as I was in t-shirt and shorts walking home and the band were really on it. I was in front of some lads who were cynical before they came on but were converted by the time Caroline had been going for about 45 seconds. I remember Rossi saying "The last time we were here was at Greenwich Town Hall in 1968 with The Animals" Parfitt confirmed this with a nod after considering for about ten seconds. You won't get that anymore. That was one of Quo's main strengths, converting the non-believers. The studio releases gradually became hit n' miss but onstage they rarely failed to deliver and could surprise any doubting Thomas's in the crowd. My 'Live Here Now '13' Hammersmith, as others have said, captures something of the fever pitch and the growl of the band. Though Selhurst Park wasn't a good day for me either. Started off well enough I suppose with Chas n' Dave, then Dave Edmunds and had been good to see Phil Lynott once more on stage (Little Steven seemed a bit out of place). It was all a bit squally for Quo and lower overall volume as the ground is in a residential area. There are interviews from the time of Selhurst but I've yet to see any true footage of the gig, which is odd really. Strange to think that possibly Selhust was going to be the original last gig on the tour? Then they added MK. If I hadn't had a ticket for Milton Keynes I would have been gutted if Selhurst had been my last Quo gig on the End of The Road tour.

This is a silly post...you cant compare gigs from the ff shows!maybe rossis quo but not the ff v ff? Yes I know it's a silly post I'm sorry for creating it you are right we should do a Rossi's quo Vs ff? Okay but people do some stupid things when they had a drink and listen to quo all day long hey Rock on Electric boogie on 🤘 Actually,no it's not a silly post (of course we can compare FF shows, what a stupid comment) , It's quite interesting to hear what others view as the best reunion gig, or what songs they preferred from the various shows. For me, I was at the Dublin gig(and as unreal as it was) but when listening back I much prefer the Hammy one from 2013, think it was the one on the 15th that stood out. From what I recall, Backwater/Just Take Me, Most Of The Time and Blue Eyed Lady have never been bettered

If I am listening to an audio from the Frantic tours then I go with the 2013 Glasgow one that I attended, the second night they played there on the tour. Bought it at the end of the gig, and it is fantastic, they just play the songs with the right feel. Was a great night and the CD still sounds fantastic, Francis missing a chord in April, the ending of Big Fat Mama completely falling apart, and John messing up the start of Little Lady, don't matter a jot.
For visuals, I've watched the Wembley gig more than the Dublin one. I think it is the fact the band is more together on that one. The performance on Dublin is great, but you just know they are falling apart behind the scenes, which just devalues it a touch in comparison with the previous year footage.

I attended one Hammy gig on each tour, upstairs in '13 [like standing on the terraces at a football match] & downstairs in '14. I bought the live cds on the day, of course, & also the subsequent releases, apart from the book. I finally acquired the book a couple of years ago but never got 'round to accessing the mp3 files. Upon endeavouring to do so I found that my pc wouldn't read the disc, but my son's would. However, his pc wouldn't burn the tracks to cd. So I had to put them all on a memory stick to get them from his pc to mine. I'm now working through the gigs in date order, listening & burning to cd. Phew!
I'd love them to release a similar package for the 2014 tour, but not for a little while, ta.
