Hi RR, I don't really rate either of the 2 official live FF reunion releases, (Wembley'13 & Dublin'14), the Live Here Now discs were far superior imo. 1st gig of the lot - Manchester 6/3/13 if you can get a copy, was unbelievable, (I was there so can vouch), and the whole atmosphere - crowd and band - really comes across...

It’s my favourite of the tour that one,got it signed by them all at Hammersmith one of my treasured pieces of Quo memorabilia Cheers

I’ve got the Live here now CD of the First Night at the Hammersmith 2013. Cracking Atmosphere which comes across very well. Much better than these 2 imo. Should be on everyone’s list to get hold of.

Is the Live Here now CD exactly the same as the DVD MP3 version on the deluxe book?

I think it can depend how you feel on the night. The FF at Hammersmith 15/03/13 was always going to be good but everyone was so up for it. EOTR Selhurst Park was a rotten day for me, swirling wind blew the sound about and my mate had blown out and stuffed me for the ticket. It was a really crap day. I went to Greenwich to see the QPQ gig and because I had lost interest half way through a Wembley gig on the Perfect Remedy tour and I was curious to how I would feel. It was a perfect day because I could walk from my house to the gig, the weather was spot on as I was in t-shirt and shorts walking home and the band were really on it. I was in front of some lads who were cynical before they came on but were converted by the time Caroline had been going for about 45 seconds. I remember Rossi saying "The last time we were here was at Greenwich Town Hall in 1968 with The Animals" Parfitt confirmed this with a nod after considering for about ten seconds. You won't get that anymore.

I preferred the 13 tour, simply because it was the ff back together. No keyboards. So I prefer the Hammy one but marginally..😉 And the crowd, haven't experienced a crowd like that for 30 years or so. Awesome

Hammersmith on the 1st night of the 2013 Tour was personally my best Gig ever, all the (Quo related) stars came together (We did 2 nights at Hammersmith both 13/14 Tours) Money didn't ever come into it, bought CDs and as much Merchandise as I could get my hands on too...

Is the Live Here now CD exactly the same as the DVD MP3 version on the deluxe book? If you mean the ear book, no it’s different (as far as I can remember). I think that it was a compilation of various concerts from the tour but haven’t listened for a while. I have the Live Here Now recordings of both years Friday nights at Hammersmith and also the Wembley and Dublin releases. I was at all those venues and for me, the Hammy nights are way better for atmosphere, with the crowd playing it’s part of 5th member of the band (sorry Bob! ) I love listening to both but there are some songs that I prefer from 2013 and some from 2014 e.g. 4500x

Is the Live Here now CD exactly the same as the DVD MP3 version on the deluxe book? There was quite a lot of different formats/releases wasn't there?
There were the Live Here Now CD's that were available on the nights of the gigs These were included as MP3's on a CD or DVD within the Earbook There was a stand alone release in 2013 (can't remember if in 2014 also) which was a compilation of all the gigs - pretty sure these recordings were remastered a little from the originals There was also one or two vinyl only releases, Glasgow 2013 being one on 2xLP
And there was the actual DVD soundtracks released as stand alone CD's - think 2013's was included in the Earbook too

Apologies for repeating myself but, and the main reason Manny 6/3/13 will always be special for me is that it was the 1st gig, the 1st time any of of us saw the big 'Hello!' drape, but most importantly, nobody knew really knew what the set was gonna be! That was the difference, I also did multiple other Manny/Hammy gigs in '13/'14, plus Dublin at the end and all were class but, just for me the anticipation boiling up for that 1st night made it more pertinent, not knowing what was coming next, I mean even FR said that when they walked on stage they could have just stood there and not even played!, I think that speaks volumes, (sorry again if I'm veering off the 'op'

Gaz vivfromcovThat's good to know, thanks. I'd forgotten about how much content is in the "earbook" or whatever it is! I certainly haven't listened to every gig - has anyone?? It's now given me a bit of a project, my new laptop has no DVD player...so I've ordered a USB one so I can rip these gigs, stick em on CD and upload the rest. I remember listening to Manchester and Glasgow from 2013, with Wolves and Dublin from 2014. I've seen shed loads of hammersmith youtube footage but don't think I've listened to a full gig. That will be my first listen. Or maybe Wolves... Shame there was no "earbook" for 2014 Just remembered a bit from glasgow, Alan says "you twat Rossi" during the chat. The crowd dies for a few seconds, but thank god, they carry on!
