Can anybody find this video that was once easy to find on YouTube? It is Status Quo playing Caroline better than ever.
The reasons for the best ever playing are because the circumstances are unique:
1. It is from some stadium soundcheck in Europe, so the focus is on listening from the start. 2. The guys don't need to run around for show, as no audience at all, so obviously easier to play well.
3. It rains like crazy, making the guys laugh, the stage might even be slippery from the rain,
maybe it rains enough to cancel the gig even, anyway the guys stand carefully still and the mood is uniquely relaxed.
The allure of Status Quo is in the incredibly tight groove, and these unique circumstances took that tight playing to a totally another level of grooviness. Can anybody point me towards this rainy soundcheck video?
Thanks!

Couldn't say tbh. Not one for watching soundcheck videos, really.
The only soundcheck footage I can think of, in the pissing down rain, is Kew Gardens 2012. But there's only clips of "The Drone" and Rossi checking out his amp sound and guitars.

Are we talking footage from the last 10 years or so of the band?
Who had been playing the drums, for instance?

The only one i can think of where it's raining is Alton Towers around 2005, but it's obviously not the one you're looking for.

The boys go to Australia, the driest place on earth, and it starts raining?
You're always shouting about the doubt in my eyes But I can't answer 'cause my eyes are so dry
