Was thinking about references in Quo songs to other Quo songs. It was even something that John Lennon used to do a lot (not to Quo songs but Beatles songs of course).
Come Rock With Me Is it a reference to the song Giving up my worryin' in the second verse?
I Want the World to Know Refers to both Rockin all over the world and Down Down
Breaking Away The term "Rockers Rollin'" is used. Was it even a expression before that song?
Run to Mummy The intro from Rockin all over the world is played at (1:34)
Rock & Roll Referes to Caroline
Do you have other examples, either lyrical or musical?

I believe the 'Caroline' reference is Radio Caroline.

From memory, so could be wrong, but didn't a musical part from, Is It Me/Gotta Go Home, not end up in the extended live versions of 4500 times?
The outro solo for Great Balls of Fire on the Anniversary Waltz, was this something Rossi had been playing during live versions of Bye Bye Johnny?

Quo have done this from time to time and, yes, Is It Really Me/Gotta Go Home - the live version anyway - did morph ultimately into that 22-minute juggernaut that not one of us could keep up with any more. Although we'd all love to have a bl00dy good go at it!

There are musical/melody lines in 'Riverside' that started life within the track (demo) 'Another Game In Town'.
'Bye Bye Johnny' gets a mention in 'I Love Rock And Roll' (1982)
Off track perhaps, but Andy B wrote and performed his track 'Supersonic' as the theme for the music TV show of that name in the mid 70s. Think it could easily have morphed into Andy's 'Long Legged Linda'.

Not a direct song reference but Again Again was influenced by the line in Down Down.

Doesn't Let's Rock loosely have references in there to one or two? That was the one I was thinking of immediately! I actually like the song but this very lyric recycling somehow ruins it for me a bit... "Rocking 'round the world like a band on the run I like it, I like it, yeah we're gonna have fun ... Getting down, down, down, getting into the groove" Hey, even a Macca/Wings reference there

3 seconds of the RAOTW solo during the "In Your Eyes" solo 4:47 onwards Seems a bit far fetched, but I guess the reference. Regardless, good catch!
