Anyone know anything about a One Off Show at Lancaster University October 1978...?
New date NEVER mentioned before one off gig at Lancaster University, Great Hall October 1978
Mentioned in a new book "When Rock Went To College"

Seem to remember a Newcastle Gig missing from the 1979 Tour when I last checked a few years ago. They ended up adding an extra night doing 4 instead of the advertised 3 nights. May have been put right by now.

Could have only happened around late August, as the band spent most of that year in Europe especially with recording the Heat album in Hilversum from March until July. Be interesting to find out the date of said gig. a ticket would give us a definitive answer as some websites have wrong dates, for example; having 4 Hammersmith Odeon dates for 1979 when the band only played 3. 25th, 26th (Officially Recorded) and 27th June.

I know they played there in the early 70's mates dad went to see them, saw queen, slade plus a few others there too, seems it was a great venue to see bands in the 70's, they don't really have bands on there much these days. Shame really it's only 5 mins away from me.

And Rock Goes To College didn't have bands of the stature of Quo on, did they?
