Do I think they shouldn’t tour ? If they want to, then yes they should. I also think it was a case of not being honest with their audience. Let’s not forget, Rick wanted to delay the tour and make it 50 years and out. It wasn’t just about health. Or being kind to Rick. For whatever reason Francis and Rick had fallen out. The FF reunions were really the final nail in the coffin between Rick and Francis as has been much discussed on here. The sad truth is Rick physically couldn't have done 50 and out electric tour, he was struggling on the acoustic shows and we all know whst happened when they started doing electric gigs again, it literally killed Rick. Rick far more than Francis had always revelled in being the showman, the rocker, he thrived on his rock star status. He would never willingly have admitted that his health was failing and he needed to retire. For the band to hide it for Rick's sake behind the communal "We're all struggling" acoustic excuse for me was a really kind gesture that enabled Rick to keep his pride. I know musicians in other high profile bands whose health failed and they just got shown the door. Thanks for your post. A revealing insight. Appreciate it.

People are allowed to change their minds, last time I looked it wasn't a crime. This is true. It’s also true, people can remember they raised the ticket price as it was their ‘farewell electric tour’.
